    Default In game vs battle simulators

    There's two ways people can battle competitively these days. One option is with the latest physical games and a wifi connection. The other is using a battle simulator.

    Which do you prefer to use and why?

    I've only ever used the simulator for competitive battling. I've never been one to really get into competitive battling, so I only do it rarely for events. Having the simulator makes things a lot easier for me since I can basically plug everything into that, and it's just overall a lot easier and a lot simpler for me. Takes out all of the breeding and whatnot that turns me off from competitive battling.

    Until I get actual recent Pokémon games I'm limited to Battle Sims (although I only ever do randoms on PS, lol) so obviously I'm choosing that.

    Unless you count URPG as a battle sim, then I pick that. It's the best ! !

    I prefer battle simulators—a lot more convenient way of battling, easier to use, and I don't really have much interest in my 3DS anymore. s';

    I prefer in game, but simulators are wonderful because they give you the option to use whatever Pokemon and movesets you want and that's really neat. :)

    In game (even if I don't do competitive battling), I've never done a battle simulator.
